You may have noticed or not that the site has been a bit up and down of late.
I haven’t been on the better side of well but I’m still alive, so onwards and upwards to better times.
So what is new, well not much really on my side. so the last piece I turned was a practice one that turned into this. I call it the lolly tree. It was a bowl that I was working on to see how thin I could go. Unfortunately I went through the bottom and joined the funnel club. so what to do so I did this. It is Pohutukawa center Finial and a light wood center with Kauri bowl center and Pahutukawa base and bowl. Cheers Arapuni Wood Turner.
Hi there from Arapuni. I have been turning for over 6 years now. It's something I really like doing. I am a member of the Putaruru Woodturning Guild and a member of the New Zealand Woodturners Guild. I am married to Catharin and have two cats and a dog. The purpose of this site is to learn about wrb pages and to show off some of my turning.
